Southern African Think Tank for Ageing Research
Southern African Think Tank for Ageing Research is a Research Consortium on Ageing in Southern African Development Community (SADC). It is a group of ageing researchers from different disciplines such as Social Work, Sociology, Demography, Social Policy, and Nursing, University Lecturers of different disciplines (such as mentioned above), Senior Government officials in charge of welfare of older persons, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) working with older persons, and the media, who are interested in undertaking ageing research in SADC, other parts of Africa and different continents across the world in order to influence policy and practice aimed at improving well-being of older
